KEYMACRO allows the user to change windows keyboard shortcuts. Keymacro uses the keys you have assigned to the program you are running. It changes the commands you have assigned for them.
One of the things the Keymacro does is change the shortcut for ALT + F4. The shortcut will change for all programs you have assigned it to.
Another thing the Keymacro does is to make key combinations work for any program you assign it to. For example, you can assign a shortcut to CTRL + Z (which is the un-minimize action). Now the application will be able to be minimized, restarted and closed by simply holding down CTRL and pressing Z.
EXAMPLE: I have a program that I use regularly. When I open that program, it is always in full screen mode and occupies the whole screen. I assign that program a keyboard shortcut. The shortcut to full screen the program is CTRL + Shift + F. I just hold down CTRL and press Shift and it will full screen the program. Now it is easy to move the mouse, exit the program and go back to my web browser or whatever else I might be doing on my computer.
The program KEYMACRO does the same thing.
