KEYMACRO is a simple, yet powerful multi-keypress application, that helps you execute various MIDI macros.
It does not let you create custom macros, but it does provide you with an easy-to-navigate interface with keypress options.
MIDI macros are sequences of keypresses that you can choose to execute when pressing the designated keys in a sequence.
There are different macros available, each one having different functions. For example, there are macros for changing the pitch of a MIDI sequence, for changing the tempo, for applying an effect and many others.
You can choose to add different macros to your projects and even export them to another format if you want to share your creations with other users.
MIDI macros are very handy in that they allow you to get creative fast. That is why KEYMACRO is a very handy tool for making quick-paced music compositions.
How to use:
You can select a project from the files panel and you will see a list of your created macros.
You can open a MIDI file in your project to set the MIDI content or load a project from a different format to edit its contents.
After creating or loading your project, you can edit it by simply adding new macros by using the "+" button.
How KEYMACRO works:
When adding a macro to a project, you just need to select the key you want to be pressed and press the "Add" button in the "Add" panel.
You can select more than one key by holding the CTRL key and selecting them by using the cursor, and you can hold down multiple keys by selecting them first.
After adding the selected keys, you can assign any other key to each of the selected keys.
When you open the program, you will be presented with a simple interface where you can set up your MIDI projects and add new macros to them.
If you hold down the SHIFT key while adding a key, then you can select any other keys to assign to the selected key.
You can have as many keys assigned as you want to each key in your MIDI project.
You can navigate to the different functions of a MIDI macro by using the "Shortcuts" option in the macro's window.
This option allows you to navigate through the macros and their related keys in the project.
If you click on any key in the Macro's window, then you will have the MIDI content of that key shown in the Projects pane.
